Regulatory & Compliance Disclosure
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
GoToHearing, a brand held by Innovative Hearing Solutions, Inc. and operated through Image Hearing Solutions, LLC, is committed to providing transparent, accurate, and fully compliant hearing healthcare services. This Regulatory & Compliance Disclosure outlines our legal structure, our professional clinical boundaries, and our independent operational partnerships in accordance with Georgia state standards, including the unified board regulations established under HB 1254.
1. Independent Clinical & Operational Model
GoToHearing operates as an independent private practice. We are not a corporate national chain, nor are we a government agency.
- Corporate Structure: GoToHearing is a registered trade name of Image Hearing Solutions, LLC. Image Hearing Solutions, LLC is a majority-owned subsidiary of Innovative Hearing Solutions, Inc., which serves as the parent holding company for both GoToHearing, LLC and Image Hearing Solutions, LLC.
- Licensure: All hearing evaluations, device fittings, and patient care pathways conducted at our physical offices are performed by state-licensed Hearing Instrument Specialists or registered apprentices in strict accordance with the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and Hearing Aid Dispensing (Ga. Code § 43-44). Individual provider license numbers are proudly displayed on our official Locations page.
- Apprentice Supervision: In accordance with state law, all clinical intake, video otoscopy, and technical assistance performed by registered Hearing Aid Apprentice Dispensers are conducted under the direct, on-site, visual supervision of a fully licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.
2. Strategic Partnership with Triple Three Audiology, LLC
To deliver specialized forensic-style documentation and meet stringent federal and state requirements, GoToHearing maintains an independent, contracted partnership with Triple Three Audiology, LLC.
- Role & Oversight: Triple Three Audiology, LLC operates as an independent company providing offsite clinical supervision, formal signing authority, and objective compliance audits for GoToHearing.
- Scope: This joint framework ensures that complex medical-legal documentation, occupational health profiles, and specialized diagnostic reports strictly align with federal, state, and insurance review standards.
- Data Sharing: All patient records shared between GoToHearing and Triple Three Audiology, LLC for compliance auditing or clinical oversight are handled via secure, encrypted channels in strict adherence to our HIPAA-compliant data sharing protocols.
3. Occupational Health, DOT, and State Physicals
GoToHearing provides independent diagnostic evaluations and equipment calibration tracking for individuals undergoing occupational screenings, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) physicals.
- No Clearance Guarantee: GoToHearing provides the objective audiometric testing, ANSI-standard compliance data, and required acoustic solutions (such as hearing aids) necessary to achieve target thresholds. GoToHearing does not guarantee employment clearance or certification.
- Final Authority: The ultimate determination of safety and employment eligibility rests solely with the employer's designated medical authority, a Certified Medical Examiner, or the reviewing state/federal agency.
4. Veterans, Department of Labor, and Workers' Compensation Claims
We specialize in providing objective medical-legal documentation to assist veterans and occupational workers navigating disability and compensation pathways.
- Independent Documentation: Any clinical report, objective testing data, or Nexus Letter support provided by GoToHearing constitutes an independent professional opinion based strictly on objective clinical data.
- No Benefit Guarantee: The provision of documentation by GoToHearing or our compliance partners does not guarantee claim approval, service connection, rating increases, or benefit eligibility. Final adjudications rest entirely with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Labor (DOL/OWCP), or the respective workers' compensation review boards.
- VA Community Care Pre-Authorization: GoToHearing is proud to support our veterans; however, patients seeking VA-covered clinical care must secure an official Community Care referral and authorization voucher naming GoToHearing from their VA case manager prior to scheduling an appointment. Retrospective authorization cannot be requested or guaranteed.
5. Wellness & Cognitive Screening Disclaimers
Our practice utilizes advanced screening tools, including Cognivue technology, to evaluate cognitive wellness as it relates to hearing health and overall quality of life.
- Non-Diagnostic: Cognitive wellness screenings and baseline tracking reports provided at our clinics are for educational and rehabilitative tracking purposes only.
- Not a Medical Diagnosis: These screenings do not constitute, replace, or simulate a formal neurological or medical diagnosis for dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or any other cognitive condition. Patients seeking medical diagnoses will be referred to an appropriate licensed medical physician or neurologist.
6. Equipment Calibration and Standards
To ensure absolute accuracy for medical-legal and occupational evaluations, all diagnostic audiometric equipment utilized across GoToHearing facilities is regularly tested and calibrated to maintain strict compliance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) requirements. Calibration logs are meticulously maintained on-site and are available for regulatory or corporate audit verification upon formal request.
